How to Send WhatsApp Review Requests Using Yotpo with Dondy

Step 1: Connect Your Yotpo Account with the Dondy App

To get started, you first need to connect your Yotpo account with Dondy.

  1. Open the Dondy App.

  2. Navigate to the Integration Page.

  3. Locate the Yotpo Card on the integrations screen.

  4. Click on Connect Yotpo.

  1. Click Connect again to proceed.



Step 2: Authenticate Your Yotpo Account

Once you click Connect, Dondy will redirect you to Yotpo for authentication.

  1. You will land on the Yotpo Authentication Page.

  2. If you are not already logged in, log in using your Yotpo account credentials.

  3. If your Yotpo account has multiple Shopify stores, select the store you want to connect.

  4. Click Continue.

Next, Yotpo will request permissions:

  1. Review the access permissions required (customer data and review data).

  2. Click Connect to grant access.

Step 3: Yotpo Successfully Integrated with Dondy

After successful authentication:

  1. You will be redirected back to the Dondy App.

  2. On the Integration Page, the Yotpo card will now show Connected status.

That’s it - your Yotpo account is now fully connected with Dondy.

Step 4: Create a WhatsApp Review Request Flow

Now that Yotpo is connected, you can create an automated WhatsApp review request flow.

  1. Go to the Integration Page in the Dondy App.

  2. On the Yotpo Card, click Activate Yotpo Review Request.

You will be redirected to the Create Flow Page.

  1. Enter a Flow Name (for example: Post-Delivery Review Request).

  2. From the Review Request App dropdown, select Yotpo.

Step 5: Customize Your Review Request Message

This is where you tailor the experience for your customers.

  1. Customize the message content as per your brand voice.

  2. Choose the language for the WhatsApp message.

  3. Set the timing (for example, after order fulfillment).

  4. Edit the review button text (e.g., Leave a Review, Share Your Feedback).

  5. Review the flow details and click Create Flow.

Once created:

  • Your WhatsApp template will be submitted for approval.

After the template status becomes Approved, the flow is active.

What Happens After Setup?


Once everything is configured and approved:

  • When you fulfill a customer’s order,

  • The customer will automatically receive a WhatsApp review request message,

  • Clicking the button takes them directly to submit their review via Yotpo.
